Robin Hole Campsite and the Trefoil Centre

Robin Hole


Robin Hole is our County Campsite at Burley Woodhead, near Ilkley, and one of two properties owned by Girlguiding Leeds.

Offering both camping areas and fully equipped residential accommodation, Robin Hole is the perfect location for exploring Ilkley Moor and Yorkshire’s stunning countryside.

Robin Hole is currently closed until January 2021.  

We are not currently taking any bookings for Robin Hole.  The situation regarding the closure will be reviewed in November.

  • All bookings up to the end of this year have been cancelled.
  • If you have your booking cancelled and wish to transfer to a later date, you may do so subject to availability (please see calendar below) and we will transfer your booking fee.
  • If you have your booking cancelled but do not wish to transfer your booking, we will refund your booking fee.

If you are staying at Robin Hole, please download and read the Robin Hole Site and Information Booklet 2019, the Robin Hole Risk Assessment and the supporting E-coli information sheet.  These documents should be used by you to plan your visit and produce a Risk Assessment which is appropriate for your event.

Trefoil Centre

The Trefoil Centre is also owned by Girlguiding Leeds.  It is self contained, has three meeting rooms of varying sizes and a galley style kitchen. It is used for County Executive Meetings, Team Meetings, Leaders Training and other gatherings.

The Trefoil centre is available for hire for Guiding and non-Guiding meetings and events.

The Skyrac Depot, a shop selling section wear, Girlguiding publications and souvenirs is located at the Trefoil Centre.
