Girlguiding in Leeds

Girlguiding Leeds is one of 17 Girlguiding Counties within the North East England Region. The Boundaries of Leeds County follows the boundary of the Leeds Metrolpolitan District, encompassing the City of Leeds and its outlying areas. The county is divided into 12 Divisions - Airedale, Athill, Billing, Bramham Moor, Chevin, Elmet, Leeds North, Leeds North East, Leeds South East, Leeds South West, Leeds West and Skyrac.

The County Commissioner oversees and coordinates activities in the County, liasing with the Division Commissioners to ensure that all Divisions have equal access to opportunities and experiences. Each Division is sub-divided into smaller Districts. Each District has a District Commissioner who provides support for Leaders and Units, arranges district meetings and liaises with the Division Commissioners.
